Universal Cells’ CEO, Dr. Claudia Mitchell has received the 2016 Women in Life Sciences Award at the Life Science Innovation Northwest (LSINW) Conference.
The LSINW Women in Life Science award has been established to recognize women who are thought-leaders in their fields and shaping the future of their industries. Claudia Michell is the CEO and co-founder of Universal Cells. In the past two years the company has licensed technology from the University of Washington and has grown to over 12 full time employees. The company has recently secured two major international contracts to develop their proprietary Universal Donor Stem Cell technology in different fields of use.
